Measuring Flour Sifter

Did you know that incorrect measuring for baking is one of the most common reasons recipes fail? The wrong amount of flour can leave your baked goods tough and dry. This cleverly designed Measuring Flour Sifter can help you get it right by measuring properly. For recipes that call for flour to be first measured then sifted, measure the flour using the top cup and measurement markings. The sifted flour is contained in the removable measuring cup, preventing countertop messes. Does the recipe call for sifted flour, measured? No problem, turn the comfortable crank handle and sift away until the correct amount sifted into the bottom cup. Measurements in cups and milliliters are included on both cups and the cups nest on the sifter for compact storage. The Sifter comes with a fine mesh screen for dusting flour or powdered sugar directly onto a surface.
Culinary Note: The difference between a recipe that calls for "1 cup flour, sifted" and "1 cup of sifted flour" is roughly an ounce of flour. An ounce might not sound like much but in the science of cooking, it makes a difference.
